VinSpace, founded in November 2025 with 300 billion dong of capital, will fly its satellites on a SpaceX Transporter rideshare in 2027. Vingroup founder Pham Nhat Vuong holds majority ownership. Terms were not disclosed.

Positive-sum angle: Rideshare pricing means a national space capability no longer needs a national rocket. The work starts at the payload instead of the launch pad, which is a budget a mid-sized economy can carry.
