Oppstar and Alphaswift received offer letters for Arm's Compute Subsystem and Flexible Access programme, two of eight awards to five companies. Arm's OnDemand training has certified 1,530 people against a four-year target of 10,000.

Malaysia's Oppstar and Japan's Tokyo Artisan Intelligence validate an edge-AI chip
The two firms completed validation of the Sting Ray reconfigurable AI chip and will produce samples on UMC's 40-nanometre process, with Oppstar leading design toward a first test chip in early 2027 for railway, robotics, and industrial use.
