A US$77 million half-year loss, so why does Singapore's DayOne file for Nasdaq now?
DayOne, the data-centre builder spun out of China's GDS, filed on 5 October to list on Nasdaq under the ticker DODC. First-half revenue was US$512 million against a US$77.2 million net loss, up from US$12.6 million. It holds 4.6GW of power across ten markets, 2.3GW already booked by customers.
Positive-sum angle: A DayOne listing prints a public price for every Johor and Batam data-centre plot. Anyone selling cooling, switchgear or fibre into those sites gets a customer with Nasdaq money before the year is out.
