AI servers run hot, Vietnam makes the cooling: Taiwan's AVC plans US$500M more in Bac Ninh
Asia Vital Components, which makes heat sinks, fans and liquid-cooling systems for servers, told Bac Ninh authorities it plans a further US$500 million in 2027 plus a research centre. That would lift its investment there to about US$1.3 billion.
Positive-sum angle: AVC already employs about 14,000 people in Vietnam. Machining, packaging and freight shops near Bac Ninh have a buyer that is still expanding.
