The non-binding term sheet, signed 28 August with Bakrie & Brothers as guarantor, covers up to Rp2 trillion ($119M) and carries a conversion option into VKTR equity. Proceeds buy electric buses and trucks.

Positive-sum angle: A fleet operator no longer has to own the bus to electrify it. Anyone running vehicles on a municipal contract in Java can now rent the capex off a state balance sheet instead of raising against it.

DBS Vickers Securities Thailand started contacting clients on 31 August to move baht securities, derivatives and cash to ttb wealth securities, with completion due by May 2027. DBS keeps its non-baht private banking.

Positive-sum angle: The domestic licence beat the foreign brand. A founder building consumer finance for Thailand is better off wholesaling the product to a Thai bank than fighting one for the same retail account.

Singapore's Tin Men Capital led the seed round — its first in a Malaysian startup — with Gobi Dana Impak and Kumpulan Modal Perdana. The films move heat more than twice as well as a copper baseline, with no equipment change.

Positive-sum angle: The company reached first revenue on under $1.5M of pre-seed. A hardware founder in Penang can read that as evidence the materials layer is fundable at a fraction of what a fab costs.
