A factory in West Java was not enough: VinFast hands Gowa Motor 30 Indonesian showrooms — TechNode Global · Permalink
The Vietnamese EV maker signed an MoU with Gowa Motor Group to build at least 30 showrooms and service centres, adding to more than 40 already open in Indonesia.
Two years of clinic data finally has a price: Medi Lifestyle takes 60% of Q & M's EM2AI — DealStreetAsia · Permalink
Under a non-binding agreement, the S$6.76 million stake is paid in 138 million new shares, valuing the dental-imaging platform near S$11.3 million. EM2AI has run in Q & M's Singapore clinics since April 2024.
A letter of credit still moves on phone calls: PILA and TOTM digitise Vietnam–Singapore trade — TechNode Global · Permalink
The pair signed an MoU to verify letters of credit with digital credentials, replacing multi-day SWIFT checks and manual reconciliation. PILA runs Vietnam's layer through NDAKey; TOTM integrates Singapore's TradeTrust, with product passports planned across three markets.
Positive-sum angle: Rails built as a verification layer beside SWIFT rather than a replacement let the smallest exporter on the corridor use them without waiting for a bank to migrate.
Equity is thin, so money arrives as debt: Partners Group closes a $1B Asia credit mandate — TechNode Global · Permalink
One Asian institutional investor committed the mandate under an open-ended evergreen structure covering senior and junior direct lending. Partners Group now runs over $40 billion of private credit across seven Asian offices.
Positive-sum angle: Sovereign funds and insurers across Southeast Asia are adding private-credit allocations, which hands companies too large for venture and too small for the bond market a lender that is not a bank.
