Phones earned $67.8B and returned almost nothing: Samsung's chip division took 97% of the profit
Samsung posted $205.6 billion in H1 revenue and $80 billion in net income. Semiconductors delivered $96.2 billion of operating profit, about 97 percent of the group total, while consumer electronics turned $67.8 billion of revenue into $1.4 billion.
